New copies do not keep the original photo details or animation. JPG fills transparent areas with your chosen background. Colours may change. AVIF files can be opened in supported browsers but cannot be downloaded as AVIF.

More about checking before you share

Check the downloaded image before you use it. Removing saved details does not remove faces, landmarks or written information that is visible in the picture. Some HEIC files cannot be converted.

Downloads keep part of the original filename, so rename the file before sharing if the name is private.
